Folkestone: Maxim A-REIT Securities Fund

Winston Sammut. portfolio manager Folkestone Maxim A-REIT Securities Fund

Property provides a cover for most of the aspects of our lives and is a tangible asset class which can be physically inspected and assessed. The Folkestone Maxim A-REIT Securities Fund invests in a variety of ASX-listed real estate securities which own office, retail, industrial and real estate-related social infrastructure. Using a high conviction active management approach and drawing on the expertise of the larger Folkestone group, the fund aims to achieve returns 1.5 per cent per annum (after fees, before tax) above the S&P/ASX 300 A-REIT Index over rolling three year periods for clients. In a world where returns are getting harder to attain, especially with a passive approach, the Folkestone Maxim A-REIT Securities Fund looks outside of the index and aims to provide investors with a steady income stream with a lower level of volatility than the rest of the market.
